The Executive Chairman Guri Local Government area of Jigawa State, Hon Musa Shuaibu Muhammad Guri, on Monday, congratulated the Governor-elect of Jigawa, Alh Umar Namadi, on his victory in the General Elections on March 18th, 2023.
He assured Namadi that the people of Guri Local Government, including himself and all stakeholders would support his administration.
He commended INEC for conducting free, fair and credible election and equally Nigerians for the peaceful and transparent outcome of the elections, which he said, demonstrates that the democratic process, values and principles remain the best way for the people to select their leaders and hold them accountable.
Guri’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Abubakar Musa.
While wishing former Governor of Lagos a successful inauguration and tenure in office, Hon Musa Shuaibu Guri said he looks forward to more fruitful and robust engagements between the Legislative and the Executive arms of Government on shared priorities such as enhancing peace and security on the Country , democracy, and greater economic prosperity and social development.
He also saluted President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar for “their statesmanship and exemplary leadership to the people of Jigawa and Nigeria in the past Eight years and the profound legacies of their administration on Security, Agriculture, infrastructure, and education, as well as strong influence, and support of the rule of law.
