MD Abubakar Rimi Market Kano, Alh Abdulkadir Bashir Hussaini has said the Supreme Court’s judgment is a testament to the strength and integrity of the country’s democratic institutions.
The Managing Director stated this while reacting to Friday’s verdict reaffirming the validity of governor Abba Kabir Yusuf election.
This was contained in a press statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Kano by the Managing Director Abubakar Rimi Market, Abdulkadir Bashir Hussaini.
According to the statement, “On behalf of myself and the entire staff of Abubakar Rimi Market, I am extending my warmest congratulations to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on his recent Supreme Court verdict upholding his election as the Governor of Kano State.
“The Governor received a unanimous decision in his favor in a historic ruling handed down by the Supreme Court earlier on Friday, reaffirming the validity of his election victory and highlighting the will of the people who chose him to lead our great state.”
MD Abdulkadir noted that the Supreme Court’s decision was a testament to the strength and integrity of our country’s democratic institutions.
“This verdict reaffirms the trust that the people have placed in your leadership. It is now our collective responsibility to work together in the spirit of national unity and progress.
“Let us focus on the critical issues facing our nation and continue to strive for the betterment of our people,” he said.
He expressed his optimism that, under Governor Abba’s leadership, Kano will continue to progress and prosper.
He commended the judiciary for its impartiality and commitment to upholding the rule of law.
