The 15th-23rd combined convocation of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka, Kaduna, took place at the institution’s auditorium on tuesday 13th of may, 2025. The colourful event was attended by prominent Nigerians across the country, includes the Emir of Zazzau Emb Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli CFR, Chairman Kaduna State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, alongside Emir of Kajiru, Alh Alhassan Adamu, and Agom Kufana, Mr. Titus Dauda. Other notable attendees included the representative of the Kaduna State Governor, the Minister of Environment, and former Governor of Kano State Mal Ibrahim Shekarau. A total of 1,320 Students Graduated with National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in various fields, making a milestone in the institution’s history since its establishment in 1976.
In a remarkable achievement that underscores its commitment and dedication to educational excellence and development, Federal College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka, Kaduna (FCFM) has during the convocation recognize some prominent Nigerians that contributed immensely in the development of education in Nigeria with an award of excellence. The prestigious accolades was presented during the 15th-23rd combined convocation held at the institution’s auditorium.


The school takes pride in its experienced teachers and its commitment to providing a secure and eco-friendly learning environment. In addition to academic excellence and performance, FCFM boats of top-notch sporting and extracurricular facilities, reinforcing its commitment to educational sector.
The ceremony not only celebrated the achievement of Federal College of Forestry Mechanization under the leadership of Dr. Patrick Gregory Boni but also underscored the critical role of education in promoting understanding and collaboration among diverse communities in Nigeria. As FCFM remains dedicated to its mission and vision of nurturing a generation equipped for the challenges of tomorrow.
